José Antonio Balseiro fue uno de los científicos argentinos que pudo ver más allá de su propio tiempo: entendió que era necesario crear instituciones que formaran investigadores en Argentina.Fue así que pudo concretar uno de sus máximos anhelos, con la creación en Bariloche del Instituto de Fïsica, que hoy lleva su nombre: Instituto Balseiro.
